Maybe a good news for some of us but definitely a frustrating news for many: Donald Trump will keep on tweeting even after he takes the office this January 20.

On ABC, the to-be White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer said, “You know what, the fact of the matter is that when he tweets, he gets results. This Week.” Moreover, Spicer added that ‘Trump’s tweets freaks the mainstream media out that as he has 45 plus million followers. It’s because his followers can have a direct conversation. He doesn’t have to have it funneled through the media.’ After finishing this statement, Spicer concluded by saying Trump will be a people’s president, putting them in the top priority.

Trump’s Twitter Obsession

Donald Trump’s obsession with Twitter and any other social media is widely criticized by people all around the world. As the time approaches for him to take the oath, Trump hasn’t at all restrained using social media. Contradictorily, in November, he said that he’ll ‘restrain’ it. The question is how he will avoid it if he hasn’t done yet in the transition period.

Since the start of the presidential race, Trump has been making some aggressive and silly comments on Twitter, directed towards various people – from reporter Megyn Kelly to president Obama. Recently, Trump took his new year wishes to twitter:

While this was the tone of president-elect, the incumbent president Obama’s tone was rejoicing.

In the same way, Donald Trump has managed to put up several other controversial statements on Twitter. On 16 May 2016, he said, “In politics, and in life, ignorance is not a virtue. This is a primary reason that President Obama is the worst president in U.S. history!”

Interestingly, Trump is perhaps the first president who publicly praises himself. In 2013, he tweeted, “Sorry losers and haters, but my I.Q. is one of the highest -and you all know it! Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure, it’s not your fault.”
